Venezuelan César Hernández struck a deal with the Washington Nationals for the 2022 MLB season for one campaign and $ 4 million, according to Jon Heyman.
The bartender was monitored by the Washington team since last season ended. Hernandez, 31, played for the Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox in 2021, hitting .231 with 21 homers and 62 RBIs.

Hernández lived his best seasons in the MLB with the Philadelphia Phillies, an organization he defended from 2013 to 2019. Now his intention will be to achieve a good year that will allow him to achieve a multi-year pact in the coming seasons.
