Before the Élites (12-19 December), the best French veterans met in Huelva for the world championships in their category. Stopped in the round of 16 in mixed and in the round of 16 in women’s doubles, Stéphanie Cloarec, on the other hand, became vice-world champion in women’s singles +40, only beaten (21-12, 21-14) by the German Claudia Vogelgsang (seed N.1).

The French record is rather good in Andalusia with the title of the Fosséen Anthony Nelson (single +35), the silver medals of Nelson-Mailly Turlan (Issy-les-Moulineaux) in mixed +35 and, finally, the bronze medals Audrey Petit in singles +35; by Bruno Cazau – Nelson in doubles +35; Hélène Dijoux – Audrey Petit in doubles +35, Jean-Jacques Bontemps in singles +55 and Marie-Odile Puype in women’s singles +65.

Good news for Breton bad after Guillaume Gailly (BC Kemperlé) had a good run a few days ago at the 3rd Uganda Parabadminton Open: 3rd in SL4 singles and SU5 mixed.
