The balance of the Granada Badminton Club was three gold medals and one bronze
Rubén García, player of the Granada Badminton Club, was proclaimed double champion of Spain under-19 in men’s doubles and mixed doubles. Together with the Galician Jacobo Fernández he beat the pair made up of Javier Álava and Rodrigo Sanjurjo by 20/22, 21/13 and 21/12. Lucas Torre, also from Granada, won the bronze medal in this category. With María de la O Pérez, in mixed doubles, she did not give up a single set in the entire tournament.
In the round of 16 they measured forces with the Oviedo couple made up of Adolfo López and Olaya García, whom they defeated on 12/21 and 13/21. In the quarterfinals they beat the seeds number 1 and in the grand final they beat the pair formed by Rodrigo Sanjurjo and Nikol Carulla by 21/13 and 21/18.
