In fact, most of the awards (gold, silver and bronze medals for sporting merit) will in fact be destined for those athletes capable of obtaining important results both internationally and nationally starting from Giulia Mignemi, the Sicilian transplanted to Lake Varese who in 2019 won a world rowing title.

The “Stars of Merit” are also of great importance, which Coni will assign to the FIGC manager Alberto Zaroli (silver), a Lucia Ballan and Mariangela Casartelli for Fitarco ea Giuseppe Rizzi for the FIP (bronze). The same can be said for the awarded silver star to the timekeepers association, crucial for the success of numerous sporting events.

Then being the Coni Varese, wide space will also have the Ravasi Award which recalls the former president of the “provincial sport government”. Four, in this case, the winners: the super-president of PolHa Daniela Colonna Preti, the long-time secretary of Coni Donatella Bianchi and the Varese Sport Commission. The fourth recognition is instead in memory of Alberto Sacchi, a passionate basketball manager who also became the provincial president of the FIP and passed away too soon.
Following the complete list of the winners called to withdraw the merits this evening, Monday 6 December, starting at 6 pm; The ceremony will be led by Luca Broggini in the presence of President Sinapi, all the delegates in office (Alberto Bonomi, Mariangela Casartelli, Bruno Frigeri, Ennio Marchesin, Miriam Martinoli, Luigi Manzo and Fabrizio Ranisi) and the technical coordinator Marco Caccianiga.
