The Prime Minister of the State of Victoria Daniel Andrews does not want sleight of hand on the Australian Open concerning the medical exemptions granted to certain players who will arrive on Australian soil.
He made it known to tournament director Craig Tiley who will have to set up a very successful control system to examine this type of profile.
Some will be a real relentlessness on the part of Daniel Andrews who made it clear that participation in the tournament was linked to a double vaccination.
Unfortunately for him, whatever may be said about specific medical situations where the vaccine is not “useful”, or so too dangerous for the health of certain athletes.
This screw-up on this subject is yet another signal to let it be known that the “diplomatic exemptions” will not be validated.
