At the end of the game, coach Alejandro Restrepo spoke about this match and what they should improve thinking about Saturday’s game against Deportivo Cali in Palmaseca.
“When substitutions are made it can be for something technical, tactical or physical. They were nominal changes, with men who we considered to be in great condition, we wanted to refresh the team, several who came out had yellow cards and were in midfield. We wanted to give freshness, to give clarity, in one of the moments of the changes their goal came, it was difficult for us to settle, but then we went out to look for the victory. Furthermore, “in this game we kept to the idea of the game, but we were not effective. We made mistakes that cost us the victory, we have to be more attentive to the game, close the games with more goals and be more attentive in defense so that they do not convert us ”.
Regarding the absences of men like Baldomero Perlaza and Geisson Perea, the strategist explained that “we lost two important men for the squad (Baldomero Perlaza and Geisson Perea), due to the very good season they had been doing, but I consider that the leadership supports it every day because they share with this group, they give us that encouragement and in the games we have men with a lot of hierarchy, I take it more to the moment that we are living and that we lost them for the rest of the season ”.
