The Atlantic U-12 women’s team was crowned champion of the National Tournament that was held in Montelibano, Córdoba, from December 1 to 4 of this year.
The quintet of the department faced in this championship the teams of Tolima, Córdoba, Planeta Rica, Montelíbano and Casanare.
Led by Owen Bertl, the Atlantic girls prevailed undefeated. In the final they beat Tolima by a score of 17-15.
The champions are: Kelly Quintero, Gabriela Guzmán, Daniela Doria, María Elisa Millán, María José Cardona, Karen Bertel, Keissy Rueda, Jhara Coneo, Natalia Cujía, Arianna Castro and María José Cristancho.
Bertel was the best player in the contest.
