Atlanta Hawks in Crisis | basketball

BASKETBALL ⋅ The Atlanta Hawks, the NBA team with the Swiss Clint Capela, lost a home game for the eighth time in a row, this time with 118: 130 against the Chicago Bulls.

Capela skorted 8 points and 16 rebounds against the Bulls. Before Christmas he had to skip two games. Atlanta had a lightning start against the Bulls in front of 17,000 spectators (25:16 lead). After five changes in leadership in the first half, however, the Hawks found themselves on the losing track at the end of the second quarter: The Bulls made a 65:56 lead from a 46:51 deficit. Atlanta followed this deficit to the end without success.

The Atlanta Hawks won eight of their first nine home games, but now have a negative home record again (8: 9 wins). In the table, the Hawks in the east fell back to 12th place and out of the playoff places. (sda)
