But in this case one that will hurt a lot. Because it is almost certain that super talent Rayane Bounida will leave Anderlecht. Chairman Wouter Vandenhaute admits this in so many words in the football podcast MIDMID.
It was no secret that Bounida was very interested. Manchester City, PSG and Ajax in particular insisted and from the age of 16 he can also sign a contract abroad. But Vandenhaute also revealed which club Bounida will almost certainly leave for.
“He wears the number 14 (the iconic number of Johan Cruijff at Ajax, ed.), which probably indicates something about what his possible club will become,” the chairman hints to Ajax. Like all of Anderlecht, Vandenhaute is also affected by the imminent departure: “My heart is bleeding.”
