On Friday, December 24, 2021, Atsuya Hirohata (graduated in 2019), an alumnus of the Teikyo University baseball club, visited our Hachioji campus for a courtesy visit. Hirohata has been a pitcher for Mitsubishi Motors Kurashiki Oceans since 2020 after graduating from the university, and was ranked 3rd from Chiba Lotte Marines at the professional baseball draft meeting held in October this year, which was his second year as a member of society. I was nominated and the other day, an enrollment meeting was held.

Hirohata, who visited with director Ryoichi Karasawa of the baseball club, handed autographed shikishi and autographed balls to the president and president Yoshihito Okinaga and reported on joining Lotte. President and President Okinaga, who is squinting at the activities of the graduates, sent words of hope for his wonderful achievements and wishes for his future leap forward. Hirohata, who has an impressive smile, strongly said, “Next time, I will win a rookie king and come to greet President Okinaga again.” It was a great encouragement for the students of the baseball club. Please pay attention to Hirohata’s future activities. Thank you for your warm support.
