Christian Eriksen cautiously resumed training at his former club Odense.
The 29-year-old Denmark international had been victim of a heart attack during the match between Denmark and Finland at Euro 2020. Resuscitated on the field, the Danish player had a subcutaneous defibrillator placed in the hospital a few days later.
Since then, Eriksen can not play for his club Inter Milan, the Italian authorities forbidding playing with such a device.
“He approached us and he is now training for himself. He’s on familiar ground and he lives around the corner“Says a manager of OB Odense, a club Christian Eriksen wore from 2005 to 2008 before moving to Ajax Amsterdam. He was then transferred to Tottenham in 2013 and Inter in 2020.
