5 Players to Add to Fantasy Football Waivers in Week 13

A player of Fantasy Football who is active on the waivers and who adds players week by week has a great chance of making it to the playoffs and winning his championship. Leagues are won on the Waivers, so it is vital to pay attention to the players who are available to put in your request and who arrive at your team on Wednesday morning.

These are 5 players to add in Fantasy Football Waivers heading into week 13. There is no clear player to spend all of the FAAB (Free Agent Acquisition Budget) on Waivers unlike last week, plus several cool players for all league formats. The order in which I put them does matter and it is in which I would arrange them if all five were available:

1. RB Alexander Mattison – Vikings

Last week was the worst in waiver quality of the season. This week, a phenomenon occurs that practically never happens: there are two RBs who can rescue a team and send it to the Playoffs or secure their advantage in a league. Mattison managed over 70% of snaps once Cook left the field, and in every game he’s played without, he’s had a Top 12 RB utilization. In the three weeks this RB has had the main role, is the RB12 in Fantasy points. An elite Waiver.

2. RB Jamaal Williams – Lions

With D’Andre Swift’s injury on Thanksgiving, Williams was the Lions’ RB1 and had a spectacular utilization with 63% of the snaps and 65% of the team carries, in addition to dominating with 55% of the offensive routes. You can rarely find a legitimate RB2 with upside on Waivers in week 13, and is available in more than 65% of the NFL leagues.

3. WR Kendrick Bourne – Patriots

He ran more than 80% of the routes last game and has three consecutive games with more than 20% of targets per route run. It’s been Fantasy Football’s WR14 for the last four weeks, which means it’s been a good WR2 in the rosters. With a slight increase in utilization, it could be a safe option if you’re lacking receivers.

4. TE Foster Moreau – Raiders

Darren Waller will be out for the next few weeks, so this TE has an automatic utilization of a TE Top 12 in Fantasy Football with more than 80% of routes run and with a good target share. Moreau is extremely talented and with this utilization, it is the closest you are going to see Waller at Waivers all season.

5.  RB Ameer Abdullah – Panthers

Everywhere they will tell you to go for Chuba Hubbard, the reality is that in the last weeks before the return of Christian McCaffrey, Ameer Abdullah led this backfield both in snaps and in run routes. Last week the same thing happened, he led with 58% of routes and had 48% of snaps. In PPR leagues especially, feel free to go for this RB.

Fantasy Football Waivers Options for Deep Leagues

Do you play in deep leagues? These are your guys:

  • WR Zay Jones – Raiders: He played at a high level and has also led on run routes in three consecutive games. This week it had 26% targets per route run and that’s where you want a WR3 to be in Fantasy Football. If you want a solid option on the Flex, Zay is your guy.
  • WR Laquon Treadwell – Jaguars: Last week he served as the WR2 of this team with the absence of Jamal Agnew and led the team in targets with 86% of routes run and with 21% of targets per route run. It is an option with a good upside.
  • WR Tre’Quan Smith – Saints: It is the WR1 of this team and with a change of QB it could have even more targets. If it’s still available around, go for it as it runs over 86% of the team’s routes.
  • WR Josh Reynolds – Lions: The last game led the team in targets with 21% of the target share and with 21% of targets per run route. In a better match, it could be a good WR4.
  • WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling – Packers: It surpassed Allen Lazard in utilization and even though it ran only 76% of the routes, it had a motivating 20% of targets per route run that can work.
  • WR Nico Collins – Texans: He comes from the game with the most run routes of his entire career and it seems that his opportunity has just arrived. Ran routes on 78% of its snaps.

If none of the aforementioned is available, these might interest you:

  • RB Dontrell Hilliard – Titans: This player led the team in snaps and had a good game in ERA, including a 60-plus yard rush for TD. It is not a good option unless someone urges you.
  • WR Keelan Cole – Jets: He was behind Elijah Moore in the lead in run routes.

TE Brevin Jordan – Texans: His role had an increase of more than 20% and he continues to play at a good level. Last week it dominated with 68%, if this number reaches 70%, people will turn to see it right away.
