15,000 tickets for “Der Klassiker” fly out the door within half an hour | Bundesliga

The coronavirus has also gripped Germany again. Up to 15,000 supporters are welcome in the German stadiums for matches in the Bundesliga. Those tickets sold like hot cakes for the match between Dortmund and Bayern Munich this weekend: everything was sold out within half an hour.

“The yellow wall” will not be at full strength for Dortmund’s home game against Bayern Munich. Nevertheless, 15,000 wildly enthusiastic – and nimble-fingered – fans will give color to “Der Klassiker”.

The lucky owners of a ticket can experience the clash between Haaland and Lewandowski up close on Saturday at 6.30 pm. The Norwegian got fit just in time for the most important league match of the year.

The Dortmund-Belgians Witsel, Meunier and T. Hazard are also preparing to receive the national champion.

European no supporters welcome in German stadiums

Unlike the Bundesliga, no supporters are allowed in German stadiums in European matches. This is how the clubs want to limit the spread of the corona virus.

The result: the top match between Bayern Munich and Barcelona will be played behind closed doors on Tuesday. RB Leipzig – group member of Club Brugge – will also receive Manchester City that evening in an empty stadium.
