The tension can be cut in Antwerp this week for the derby.
Beerschot against Antwerp, with an audience, which requires extra intensive preparation to warm the supporters for a heated atmosphere on ‘t Kiel Sunday before the arrival of Antwerp.
In a film, which strongly leans towards mala fide practices, we see Sven De Ridder making a deal with a colleague who has Raphael Holzhauser as an accomplice. The Austrian playmaker does not have much text, although he can set up a good face.
De Ridder calls on the supporters to make Antwerp all purple (“mauve”) to be colored in the spirit of the derby. “Every facade in Antwerp must be colored mauve. Even if people hang mauve underpants in front of their window”, it sounds.
Curious whether the supporters will heed it and what the reaction from the Antwerp camp will be.
