THE APARTMENTS – No.25 Georgia Tech women’s basketball returns to the hardwoods for a midweek tilt at Purdue on Wednesday in the 14e installment of the Big Ten / ACC Challenge. The yellow vests and boilermakers are expected to tip at 7 p.m. at the Mackey Arena.

Georgia Tech is looking to build on its winning streak on Wednesday, following a 65-32 win over Hofstra last week. The Yellow Jackets saw three double-digit wins over Pride, led by Lotta-Maj Lahtinen with 15 points. Nerea Hermosa and Lorela Cubaj each contributed 10 points, with Cubaj finishing with a double-double behind the team’s best 11 rebounds. Hermosa continues to lead the Yellow Jackets offensively, averaging 11.8 points per game over the six games.

Purdue comes off a 66-61 victory over No. 17/22 Florida State in the St. Pete Showcase for his first win over a ranked opponent since 2018-19. Four Boilermakers have double-digit average scores in Purdue’s seven games, led by Madison Layden with 13.0 points per game. Layden also leads Purdue on the glass, getting 6.1 rebounds per game.
