A few weeks after Newcastle, it’s West Ham’s turn to see a new investor land. As expected, Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky has acquired 27% of the London club. also owner of Sparta Prague, the businessman hopes to buy the remaining shares in the short term.
“I am delighted that this process has now been successfully completed. I have a passion for football. I greatly appreciate and respect West Ham United’s exceptional history and tradition,” said Kretinsky, who is joining the board of administration of the club with his collaborator Pavel Horsky.
