In the middle of the third period, Girgenson pushed Bruins striker Charlie Macawam to the edge, for which he received a 5 + 10 minute rejection until the end of the match.

Before leaving the field, the Latvian striker on the ice was 12 minutes and four seconds, from 40 seconds in the minority, but 52 seconds in the majority. Girgenson scored twice, used two forces, blocked one opponent’s throw, made one mistake, won two of the five throws and finished the match with a neutral efficiency.

Kail Okposo scored the only goal in the Sabers match, but Mike Riley, Charlie Koil, Patrick Bergeron, Taylor Hol and David Pastrnaks scored in the winning races.

Girgenson has stood out in 19 matches this season with four goals and five assists.

This was the fourth loss in a row for the Sabers and the team with 19 points in 19 matches is ranked 13th in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Bruins are in tenth position with 20 points in 16 games.
