Veracruz highlights in National Festival

The Veracruz delegation who participated in the past National Martial Arts Festival 2021, fulfilled a positive performance by conquering 11 medals, of which four were gold, three silver and four more bronze in the event that was held in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo.

The Mixed Martial Arts Association of the Gulf through its president Agustín Guzmán, thanked the support of the official uniforms to the Veracruzano Institute of Sports directed by José Alberto Nava Lozano, as well as the internal transportation in Veracruz.

The gold medals were won by Diana Zamorano Balderas with two gold medals, as well as Pedro Toledo Elvira and Angela Luna Pérez, who climbed to the top of the podium in this National Martial Arts Festival.

The silver medals were the work of Valeria Millán Sánchez, Manuel Camo Betan and Ramiro Huesca Pérez. Meanwhile, the bronze medals were won by Maximiliano Del Río Domínguez, Brian de Jesús Ramírez Pérez, Gustavo Javier Camo Betan and Diana Juliet Cruz.

Reactions

“We are proud of the results of the Veracruz delegation in this National Festival. We will continue to support sports disciplines to continue with the development of sport in the Veracruz state,” said General Director José Alberto Nava Lozano.

The rector of the sport congratulated the Mixed Martial Arts Association of the Gulf for the coordinated work, as well as the structure they have made with this sport in Veracruz.

The National Martial Arts Festival was organized by the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sports (CONADE) and eight different federations participated, such as Lima Lama, Kick Boxing, Muay Thai, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Kempo, MMA.
