Vaccination rethinking with two stars of the record champions

The vaccination discussions and the associated quarantine chaos in Bavaria seem to be having an effect. Some of the German record champions’ players are said to have had their vaccinations after all.

Did the pressure get too much in the end? As “Kicker” and “Spox” report, the two Bayern stars Jamal Musiala and Serge Gnabry have now been vaccinated against the corona virus.

The “Kicker” writes about Musiala that the DFB national player initially followed the Stiko recommendation, which until August did not consider a vaccination for people under the age of 18 to be urgently necessary. The offensive player, who celebrated his 18th birthday on February 26, then sought the opinion of several doctors. In particular, Musiala was worried about possible heart problems as a result of the vaccination.

Musiala is to receive a second dose of vaccine during the winter break

According to information from “Spox” he will receive the second dose of the vaccine during the winter break. Gnabry, on the other hand, writes the “Kicker”, does not need a second vaccination appointment because of a previous Covid disease. Both the 26-year-old and Musiala were vaccinated by one of the Munich team doctors.

It remains to be seen whether the remaining three unvaccinated Bayern players are now also reconsidering their vaccination status. According to reports from “The Athletic” and “Bild”, Michael Cuisane and Joshua Kimmich should now consider spades to protect against the corona virus. Only about Eric Maxim Choupo-Motting’s current position in the vaccination debate is there no evidence.

Kimmich, Gnabry and Cuisance are currently in quarantine, as are Jamal Musiala and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. They all had contact with a person suffering from Corona and are therefore not in the Champions League game against Kiev (today from 6.45 p.m. in the t-online live ticker) included.
