After the scandal about the five unvaccinated Bayern professionals, two of the record champions’ players are said to have decided to vaccinate.
According to information from “Kicker”, Serge Gnabry and Jamal Musiala have now been vaccinated. Thus, from the quintet of the record champions’ scandal stars, only Joshua Kimmich, Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting and Michael Cuisance remain. After the media frenzy surrounding Kimmich & Co., the vaccination debate seems to have started to move. The Bayern stars were publicly made hell, wages withdrawn and politicians recommended the vaccination in private conversations. This is having an effect: Kimmich and Cuisance should now also seriously consider the injection.
According to the “Kicker”, Musiala initially followed the official recommendation of the Standing Vaccination Commission (STIKO), which up until August did not consider vaccination necessary for children and adolescents under the age of 18 because the risk of severe COVID courses was low was deemed. As a reminder: Musiala came of age on February 26th. Even in spring and summer he would have been with the last in the order of urgency.
