Three young men were tried in immediate appearance, Monday, November 15, 2021, by the court of Compiègne (Oise). They had been arrested after the beating of a man near Saint-Jean-aux-Bois, relate 20 Minutes this Tuesday. The victim had fallen into an ambush organized by a young man who wanted to avenge his 16-year-old girlfriend.
In early November, the teenager explained that she was allegedly assaulted by a man she knew. The boyfriend wanted to corner the alleged perpetrator. The 16-year-old girl then arranged a meeting with him in a forest to set a trap for him.
18 months to three years suspended sentence
When he arrived, he ran into the boyfriend and three sidekicks whose faces were obscured. They violently assaulted him, giving him multiple punches and baseball bats, tell our colleagues. He was also allegedly stabbed before being left at the scene in the middle of the night.
The police investigation led to the arrest of the three suspects. The latter had not been denounced by the victim, who feared reprisals, according to 20 Minutes. The Compiègne criminal court sentenced them to terms ranging from 18 months to three years in prison with a partial suspension.
