They file the last case against Camps for the organization of the F1 of Valencia

ValenciaThe titular magistrate of the court of instruction number 2 of Valencia, Beatriz Carmen Sobremonte, has agreed the provisional closing of the case that investigated the ex-president of the Generalitat Valenciana Francisco Camps by presumed crimes of embezzlement and prevarication in relation to a contract of the July 2011 by which the regional administration, through the Society of Thematic Projects of the Valencian Community (SPTCV), assumed, in substitution of Bancaja, the condition of guarantor of the company Valmor for the celebration of the Grand Prix of Valencia of Formula 1.

The magistrate considers it “obvious” that “the appropriate procedure” was not followed, although she emphasizes that “it cannot be ensured that it was Camps himself who determined the replacement of Bancaja by SPTCV”, as there is no evidence to confirm it.

With the filing of this case – waiting for the resolution to be final -, Francisco Camps only has open the piece that investigates the hiring of the exhibitor of the pavilion of the Valencian Country for the 2009 edition of the fair Fitur.

“Twelve years of persecution by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office and Ximo Puig”

After learning of the filing, Francisco Camps denounced on Wednesday that he had suffered a political strategy to persecute him and stated: “It has been more than twelve years of persecution by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office and Ximo Puig when there has been nothing concrete. nor decisive in my causes “. An assertion that he has completed with a more forceful one: “The left is aware that if I am dismissed it will leave the presidency of the Generalitat.”

In this line, the former head of the Council has announced that he will file an extraordinary appeal before the Court of Justice of the European Union for an investigation into the Formula 1 case which he considers “illegitimate” and for the “persecution” in the National Court for the hiring of the exhibitor of the pavilion of the Valencian Country for the 2009 edition of the Fitur fair.

On whether he will return to active politics, Camps has said that he has never left her and that he will continue to militate in the Popular Party until he dies. However, he acknowledged that he would “love” to have a position to demonstrate the “potential” he believes he has, and that it is a wish that his party’s leadership in the Valencian Country and Madrid “know perfectly well”.
