EL NUEVO DIARIO, PUERTO PLATA.- The National Police arrested a Haitian on Thursday who beat and deprived an American of nine thousand dollars who allegedly refused to pay him sex work in Puerto Plata.
The detainee responds to the name of Jermison Pie, alias Nathalie, temporarily resident in a pension on 30 de Marzo Street in the Las Cañitas sector, in Puerto Plata, who is accused of beating the American identified as Dany Menard.
According to the versions, the attacker, along with another man identified as Wesner Metelus who is a fugitive, kicked and scratched Menard two weeks ago.
The North Regional Directorate of the National Police reported that the warned person will be brought to justice in the next few hours, while the search continues for the named Wesner Metelus, who escaped to an unknown place.
