It is rare for Victoria Beckham to leave the house in anything other than heels, however she has recently been seen wearing a par of tenis Nike Air Force 1. Admittedly, they’ve been a staple for getting out of the house for years, but the way Beckham wears them makes classic sneakers seem like a wardrobe staple rather than an afterthought.
During an outing in London, Beckham proved that they are one of the best basic by pairing them with a color-block sweater (from her eponymous clothing line, of course), cuffed jeans, and a Hermès Birkin bag in hand. And in early November, she paired her new sneakers with a green sweatshirt and leggings.
Beckham isn’t the only star who can’t get enough of simple white sneakers. Hailey Bieber must have several pairs in her closet, as she frequently wears them with everything from structured suits to flowery dresses.
Even Ciara chose the sneakers to wear while showing off her new accessory brand Dare to Roam.
And in March, Rosalía showed an espadrille hybrid of Nike Air Force 1 sneakers with white espadrille stitching that connects the vanilla sole and laces long enough to wrap around the ankle.
Cute and comfortable? It’s no wonder so many celebrities are in love with these laid-back shoes.
