Begun in early October, work on the village hall is continuing at a good pace. The bay windows have been changed in the library and in the dance hall, they will be secured by new ramps.
The skylights of the great hall are also being installed as well as the compulsory ventilation ducts. A false ceiling and interior wall cladding will follow for better acoustics and significant heating savings, as well as exterior wall insulation.
The users of the room should soon appreciate the result. In the meantime, the different clubs can exercise their favorite sports in the village hall of Saint-Martin-des-Faux for the Pilates gym, fitness, yoga, tai-chi, qi-gong or rollerblading. As for judo, it is in Les Canabières that it is now practiced.
The work, which should be completed in February 2022, is being carried out by local and regional companies. Exterior joinery is provided by Center Alu in Pont-de-Salars, electricity by Eiffage and Ets Gaubert in Salles-Curan, heating by Thermatic in Rodez, ceilings and interior insulation by Établissements Boissonnade in Olemps, and exterior insulation by Vaz Ravalement de Mende.
