The victorious Francesco Alfè qualified for the Italian Junior Judo Championship

The Qualification for the Italian Junior Judo Championship took place yesterday at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Avola, in which the Vittorio Francesco Alfè (cat. 66kg) took off the pass for the Italian Championship in Ostia on November 21st.

Francesco Alfè practices judo with the M ° Gaetano Spata since 2009, when Maestro Spata opened a branch of his Catania dojo in the city of Vittoria. Since then, many children and young people grew up on Maestro Spata’s tatami and numerous judokas who represented Vittoria at the Italian Championships in Ostia of the FIJLKAM (Italian Federation of Judo Fight Karate Martial Arts).

A few weeks ago, in fact, the tatami of the Pala Pellicone di Ostia was trodden by two other victories, Giuseppe Reccavallo and Elisea Alfè, on the occasion of the Italian Cadet Championship.

After almost two years of pause due to the pandemic and without a municipal sports facility suitable for training of judoka of national interest, these important qualifications seem to be a ray of sunshine.

The young people from Vittorio Veneto are recovering their sports spaces in every discipline, showing all their strength and their will to start again from where everything left off in 2020. The judokas of Maestro Gaetano Spata are not and will not be outdone. Good luck to our Francesco Alfè, he will be able to carry the name of the City of Vittoria on the national tatami.
