While the Etoile Angers Basket consolidated its position as leader of Pool A of NM1, Les Sables-d’Olonne won the Vendée derby (72-67) against much too clumsy Challandais (35% success on shots ) to hope to make a result in Beauséjour. Returned to a possession in the money time after having been 14 points behind, Antoine Michon’s proteges could not stop Noah Burrell (14 points at 6/12 on shots, 3 rebounds and 4 assists for 15 evaluation in 29 minutes).
In addition to this Western derby, the CEP Lorient had fun against the JSA Bordeaux (93-60), good last of the group (only one victory in 13 games!) While Cergy-Pontoise, carried by a great Vincent Shahid (31 points at 10/16 on shots, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for 32 evaluation in 36 minutes), surprised Toulouse (81-72). In Vienne, Aurore de Vitré confirmed his excellent start to the season (8 wins in 13 matches) by defeating Poitiers (67-73).

In the only two matches of Pool B scheduled for Saturday, Besançon caused a sensation by winning after extra time at Orchies (75-78), with a last dunk of Valentin Vitale Lame (15 points at 6/13 on shots, 1 rebound and 2 assists but 4 lost balls for 5 evaluation in 41 minutes).
