The UASLP headquarters of the National University of Basketball 2021 – El Sol de San Luis

The National Council of Sports for Education (CONDDE) in coordination with the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí, organize the 2021 National University Basketball Championship from November 23 to 28, which brings together 48 quintets from approximately 30 universities in the country in both branches. .

There will be 24 men and the same number of women from 9 entities that will take part, with four venues where the matches will take place: University Sports Unit, Miguel Barragán Auditorium, Center for Talent Development and High Sports Performance (CEDETARD) red room and blue. The entrance is free in all.

The inauguration takes place this Monday 22 at 6:00 p.m. in the Miguel Barragán auditorium, and the initial phase of matches will be played from Tuesday 23 to Thursday 25, in the format of six groups of four teams, of which advance to quarterfinals. final the six leaders of each and the two best second places.

The quarterfinals will take place on Friday the 26th, the semifinals on Saturday the 27th and the games for third and fourth place as well as the finals on Sunday, November 28th.

Regarding the representatives of the UASLP, in the men’s branch it is located in Group F along with ITESM campus Santa Fe, University of Celaya and the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico. The team is led by Armando Mariscal Mata and is made up of: Johan Álvarez, Felipe Arenas, Joshua Barrientos, Luis Estrada, Hugo González, Isaac Guerrero, Alan Ham, Juan Hernández, Víctor Hernández, Eduardo López, Luis Meza, Daniel Pérez, Uriel Ponce, Alan Rangel, Daniel Rodríguez and Rodrigo Ruiz.

For the female branch, the UASLP was also in group F with: University of Celaya, ITESM campus Toluca and the Universidad Michoacana SNH. The squad is directed by Reynaldo Basilio and is made up of: Dinorah Aguiñaga, Pamela Alfaro, Andrea Cárdenas, Carmen Castañeda, Anakaren Flores, Nahomi Juárez, Gemma Muñoz, Ana Muñoz, Anahí Olmedo, Lizarahi Padrón, Carolina Pérez, Patricia Rabadan, Iris Reyes, Gema Reyna and Nadia Sánchez.
