Climbing, men’s basketball and women’s basketball: Bizzozero smiles.
This week three sports, three reasons for satisfaction for Bizzozero:
MEN’S BASKETBALL Bizzozero in command: Four victories in five days, and the Bizzozero Basketball finds itself alone at the top of the classification of group D of the B series of the UISP Varese Senior Championship. In the last match – the derby with Bobbiate -, held last Friday, the boys from Bizzozero won – formally away – for 57 to 43 (15-15: 29-23: 34-44; 43-57), with a super Abbiati, author of 23 points. The red and white team now leads the group with 8 points, preceding Tavernerio, Masnago and Montello, stuck at 6.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL Seventh success in view of the top clash: The girls of the Varese 95 Women’s Basketball, engaged in the green round of the B series of the FIPAV national championship, struggled more than expected on the Costa Masnago basketball court, exceeding 77 to 75, and thus conquering the seventh victory in seven games; a strip that allows the red and white to consolidate the top of the group standings, with 14 points, paired with the Milano Basket Stars, with which they will meet on the last day of the first round scheduled for Saturday 27 November at 21.00 at the sports hall of the Bizzozero Campus in via Monte Generoso.
CUS INSUBRIA The regional title for climbers in Tosatto: Balancing on the holds of the Milanese gymnasium Manga Climbing, university students from all over Lombardy challenged the force of gravity in the Regional University Boulder Championship.
The “agonists” competition, valid for the title of Regional University Champion, saw the athletes compete for the qualification for the final on ten blocks, to be completed in a maximum time of two hours. The CUS Insubria athlete Andrea Tosatto excelled.
