With a very important salary for the next two seasons, John Wall still hopes to tread the NBA floors on this campaign. The Rockets don’t necessarily want to, preferring to keep the point guard aside, thus avoiding injury. The problem is, discussions are non-existent, leading to a status quo.
Wall wants to play, but neither team wants to recruit him through a trade. Houston does not want the point guard on the floor, and prefers to trust Jalen Green and company. A difficult situation, which took another turn on Saturday, with Wall’s request to return to the team’s rotation.

The two sides had reached an agreement to wait for a trade before the season, but the former Wizard can see that the situation is not moving. He had a discussion with his team today… which led to nothing according to Adrian Wojnarowski. Unfortunately for the leader, nothing will change.
