The public will be able to choose again the best Gipuzkoan athlete of 2021

The Gipuzkoan sport gala, organized by the Provincial Council, will be held on December 10. Once again, a special prize called Gipuzkoarren Kirola 2021 will be awarded, the winner of which will be chosen by the public. The platform to cast the vote is the website www.gipuzkoa.eus/es/web/kirolak/premio-gipuzkoa-kirolak-2021. The voting period expires on Thursday at 12 noon.

The territorial sports federations have made different proposals for candidacies. They are the surfers Adur Amatriain and Janire González; the judokas Unai Saralegi and Unai Reguillaga; Iker Andoni Echeverria from the billiards federation, triathletes Aitor Rementeria and Helene Alberdi; Clara Azurmendi from the badminton federation; the Amazon Natalia Ramírez from the horse riding federation; the Bera Bera player Alba Menéndez and Julen Aginagalde representing handball; Arraun Lagunak’s female drifter; Iñigo Llopis and Nahia Zudaire from the adapted sports federation; Ander Cepas and Olaia Martínez for table tennis; the skater Nerea Vázquez; the golfers Borja Martín and Paula Balanzategui; paddlers Maialen Chourraut and Ander Elosegi; the Royal Society and the Intxaurdi; Iraurgi de Azpeitia in basketball; athletes Odei Jainaga and Teresa Errandonea; the boxer Joan Jiménez; the ultra-long-distance runner Maite Maiora; the cyclists Ion Izagirre and Ane Santesteban; the pelotari Jokin Altuna, the rugby players Amaia and Lide Erbina and on behalf of the Sailing federation Olatz Muñoz, Maite Lizarraga and Patricia Alza.
