The major five of the week | Damian Lillard and Jayson Tatum raise the bar | NBA

Quite a few fit teams and there is therefore a fairly wide range of choices for this new major five of the week.

Several Suns (Devin Booker, Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton…) were possible but it is the collective strength of Phoenix that impresses. The Bulls (DeMar DeRozan, Zach Lavine…) were also on the list of possibilities, as were Trae Young, Jimmy Butler and some Utah players (Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert…).

In the end, and even though it was a rest against the Pistons, Stephen Curry is impossible to rule out as it was disgusting against the Nets but also against the Cavaliers.

By his side, Damian Lillard has not yet necessarily set the sights but things are better. It is also much better for Jayson Tatum on this side, and even globally in all areas of the game, while Giannis Antetokounmpo appreciates that the Bucks infirmary is finally emptying.

Under the circle, place to Karl-Anthony Towns. Wolves have admittedly faced struggling teams (Kings, Spurs, Grizzlies) but the interior did the job, taking their team in its wake.

As in the last four seasons, you can vote for the MVP of the week.
