The judo club, a great sporting showcase for Quillan

Sunday, November 21, at the Narbonne dojo, the Quillanais judo club was engaged in the first selection for the youngest and youngest. After two years without competition, the club’s students rediscovered the pleasure of combat and the path to success by reaching several podiums.

Indeed, once again, the students of Daniel Capayo and Julie Montanel distinguished themselves and collected a harvest of medals, 15 competitors, 15 awards. All the participants thus climbed a step of the podium and left with medalists.

At the end of very well controlled fights, the minimes qualified for the minimal zone which will take place on 22 january in Argelès. As for the youngest, they will move to Narbonne on 29 january for their second departmental selection.

For the little ones, the stakes are high since these qualifications at the highest level of competition can lead them to the French championships which will take place in Paris or Clermont-Ferrand.

With this new flawless performance, the Quillan judo club confirms its good vitality and represents sport in the Upper Aude valley with honor.

The participants

Benjamins : Lili Rigoni, Bryan Paillard, Sarah Osmani, Benoît Poursel, Marius Peille, Mathieu Guiter, Heloïse Motte Heloïse and Lola Roca.

Minimal : Mathis Marrot, Mathis Montanel, Lucas Chourreaux, Lorenzo Roca, Raphaël Marin, Freulon Michaëlla and Aïmrane Naciri.
