The Five Players AS Follow the Titans vs. Patriots

The Tennessee Titans they will travel to New England to face the Patriots at Gillette Stadium in an engagement of the NFL Week 12. The result of this game will be important at the end of the regular season to know who gets the American Conference crown.

The Patriots have won the last five games, but their home record leaves much to be desired. They have been defeated in four of the six games held at Foxborough. For their part, the Titans have only lost once away from home; surprisingly it was against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.

Are here players A of the game between the Titans and the Patriots.

Mac Jones/QB/Patriots

Mac Jones is the rookie quarterback who has best responded to the expectations generated before the regular season and that has been thanks to the great team that head coach Bill Belichick has put together. Jones is the fourth rookie to win five games in a row with a quarterback rating greater than 100.; the others were Dak Prescott, Robert Griffin III, and Ben Roethlisberger.

In addition, since Mike Vrabel was the head coach of the Titans, Tennessee has lost four of the five games in which it has faced first-year quarterbacks.

Ryan Tannehill/QB/Titans

Tannehill had his worst performance this season in a loss to the Houston Texans.. The veteran quarterback completed 35 of 52 throws for 323 yards and a touchdown, but threw four interceptions. In addition, he suffered two fumbles that his teammates were able to recover.

The Texas A&M product will have to watch the ball at Gillette Stadium, as the Pats’ defense is one of the best in terms of turnovers. New England leads the NFL with 18 interceptions.

Interestingly, Tannehill has five wins against Belichick, the second most by a rival quarterback since he was New England’s head coach.

Matt Judon/LB/Patriots

Although Matt Judon earned two Pro Bowl invitations with the Baltimore Ravens, he had never performed the way he is in New England.. The linebacker topped the 10 (10.5) mark for quarterback sacks in just 11 games. Additionally, of his 40 tackles, 11 have been for loss of yards.

One of the advantages for this game is that they will have to focus mainly on the passing game, since Derrick Henry is not there and management has terminated Adrian Peterson’s contract. So Judon’s mission will be to capture Tannehill.

Harold Landry/LB/Titans

Titans head coach Mike Vrabel played eight years for Bill Belichick and the Patriots and seems to want to emulate his former coach in many ways, like having a good defense.

Vrabel’s emphasis on the Tennessee defense is noticeable in Harold Landry’s production. The fourth-year outside linebacker is doing great in 2021, recording 57 tackles, 19 hits to opposing quarterbacks, 12 takedowns for loss of yards, 10 sacks and a force fumble.

Chester Rogers/WR/Titans

Without Julio Jones, nor AJ Brown, Chester Rogers will be the Titans’ WR1 to face the Patriots. In his first year with Tennessee, after four with the Indianapolis Colts, Rogers has 236 yards and a touchdown after catching 19 passes from Tannehill.
