The Fernando Fernández Judo Club obtained last Sunday two medals in the Andalusian Children’s Championship held in Rincón de la Victoria. Manuel Espejo, with a first position, and Henry Baetz, second, were the medalists in the tournament at the regional level.
Manuel Espejo, in the -60 kg category, has been champion of Andalusia after five fights. After this victory, he certifies his presence in the final phase of the Spanish Judo Championship that is held in Madrid on December 5 and 6.
For its part, Henry Baetz he lost the final at -66 kg by very little. It should be noted that it is a highly deserved medal as it is also his first official competition, where he made four masterful matches to qualify for the final.
