The Clippers get the best of Dallas in the NBA

The Los Angeles Clippers had to work to get the victory against Dallas, this Sunday at the Staple Center. After the kick-off at 12:30 p.m. local time, the game took a few minutes to get carried away with two uninspired teams.

If Los Angeles led at the score at half-time thanks to a very fit Paul George on the floor (leading scorer in the game with 29 points scored, 6 assists, 4 rebounds), Dallas was not left behind at the help from the good interior play of Kristaps Porzingis (25 points, 8 rebounds).

Well supported by Reggie Jackson (23 points), Paul George enjoyed himself during the third quarter by scoring 12 of his 29 points. But, at the end of the game, the Clippers, more feverish in attack, saw in their retro the Texans, who thought to return to 94-91 when there were only 52 seconds to play after a basket from Jalen Brunson.

But a foul on Terance Mann was called and the basket canceled. Reggie Jackson then scored inside to seal the fate of this meeting by giving a seven point lead (96-89) with 29 seconds remaining. With this success (the 10th of the season), Tyronn Lue’s men are 4th while the Mavericks are 6th.
