For the crucial game, the Braves announced Max Fried as a starter, while the Astros will likely rely on Mexican José Urquidy to take the Series to seven games.
Five of the ten recent World Series have gone to the maximum of seven games, the last one in 2019, when the Washington Nationals beat the Houston Astros precisely.
The Astros have gone to three of the last five Fall Classics, winning only the 2017 one, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Astros came from behind in Game 5 on Sunday and bounced back from a Grand Slam in Adam Duvall’s first inning, an offensive move that can mentally knock out the opposing team.
Everything indicated that it would be the night of celebration for the Braves, but the Astros kept their championship hopes alive by coming back and prevailing nine runs to five.

The Atlanta team saw a seven-game winning streak at home be snapped in this year’s postseason and failed to become the first team to win the crown at their own stadium since the Boston Red Sox did so in 2013.
The Braves reached the World Series for the first time since 1999 (lost to the Yankees) and are seeking their first Fall Classic crown since 1995, when they beat the Cleveland Indians.

Atlanta is also seeking its fourth major league crown in franchise history. The Braves won in 1957 when they were based in Milwaukee and in 1914 when Boston was their home.
Not many believed the Braves would be at this level by now, but they left two teams on the road with tags of favorites like the Milwaukee Brewers and hitherto defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers.
