The 2022 budget of the Antonio Pérez Foundation exceeds 355,000 euros

The Antonio Pérez Foundation (FAP) will manage a budget of 355,800 euros in 2022, 5,000 euros more than in the previous year. This was approved in the ordinary meeting held by the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, with the unanimity of all its members.

The increase, according to the Provincial Council in a statement, will go directly to the investment that the Foundation dedicates to exhibitions, which will amount to almost 50,000 euros.

Also unanimously approved the appointment of the deputy for Culture, Fátima García, as vice president of the FAP, a position that she welcomes “with tremendous responsibility” and with the aim of putting the Foundation in the cultural epicenter of the city and of the province.

In fact, in the program of activities that went ahead in the ordinary meeting of the Board of Trustees, the realization of traveling exhibitions around the towns has been included as a novelty.

An initiative, which García pointed out, in addition to bringing culture closer to rural areas, seeks to make the FAP “known and recognized” by all residents of Cuenca. Also this year the didactic activities that will allow schools and institutes to visit the headquarters of the Antonio Pérez Foundation are back.

Regarding the exhibitions, the one dedicated to the fifty years since the death of Manuel Millares, one of the members of the El Paso group, stands out, and of which the FAP has a large group of works.
