A total of 5 classes for men and women were held, and 19-year-old Tatsuru Saito (Kokushikan University) defeated Tajikistan in the final to win the men’s 100 kg class. Win all four games from the first round.

Saito is the second son of the late Olympic champion Hitoshi Saito and is a promising instrument. He made a powerful attack in his first appearance on a senior world tour sponsored by the International Judo Federation (IJF). Kosuke Mashiyama (Park 24), a 90-kilometer boy, won the final with a foul victory of Guidance 3 over Mammadali Mehdiev (Azerbaijan).
