Due to the loss of Club Brugge, Antwerp was able to do a golden job on the STVV field, but that turned out completely wrong.
At halftime, things certainly didn’t look good for the visitors. After all, Antwerp went into the dressing room with headaches. Hayashi and Koita made the difference for the home team with 2 goals in 6 minutes.
Antwerp could barely make a fist after the break. Until The Great Old fought back in the game in the final phase. Fischer painted a corner kick on Samatta’s head, which left Schmidt without a chance. But Antwerp didn’t get any further.
