AFI, expert of the Italian league and with a lot of continuity on excellent levels. The new arrival at San Marino Baseball is Nathanael Batista, a player who moved from Novara to Rimini in 2018 and then experienced important and always productive years with Macerata.
Italo-Dominican, class ’95, Batista moves well indoors but can also occupy the outdoor lawn if necessary. From an average of 260 in 2017, he moved up to 322 with 22 points beaten at home in 2018.
In 2019 he arrives in Macerata in A2 and leads the Marche team to promotion through the victory in the final with Collecchio. In the last year, finally, it has an excellent and above all continuous roadmap between the first and second phase.
His 2021 with Macerata ends with a knockout in Serravalle with Bologna in the semifinal of qualifying for the European Champions Cup. For him, in the 2021 total, 429 average and 27 points beaten at home.
