Ready the crosses of Colombia in the judo of these Junior Pan American Games

The Yuri Alvear Combat Coliseum will see the first four Colombian judokas in action, and their respective rivals, this Friday, November 26.

The female branch, the one with the highest participation during the day on Friday, will compete with Maryury Ureña, against the Venezuelan María Giménez in the 48 kg; Stefanía García, an athlete who will fight Fabiola Díaz, from Venezuela, in the quarterfinals of 52kg, and Nikol Pencue, a judoka who will face Brazilian Thayane De Oliveira in the eighth of 57kg.

Mateo Mejía, the only Colombian representative of the men’s branch on the day, will face Willis García, from Venezuela, for the round of 16.

Cubans, Ecuadorians, Americans, Mexicans, Paraguayans, Peruvians, among others, also animate the judo competitions of the Junior Pan American Games.

Place: Yuri Alvear Combat Coliseum, Jamundí, Valle del Cauca.

9:00 – Maryury Ureña (COL) VS María Giménez (VEN).

11:15 – Stefanía García (COL) VS Fabiola Díaz (VEN).

11:45 – Nikol Pencue (COL) vs Thayane De Oliveira (BRA)

12:45 – Mateo Mejía Montoya (COL) vs Willis García (VEN)
