The highlights of the Asia Show? Culinary specialties, of course, with the Asian Kitchen event (21 Asian restaurants and bars that make it the biggest food court Asian from France) but also a host of activities. This year, focus on martial arts for which a giant space is dedicated: tatami mats, martial arts museum, sumo area, reconstruction of a dojo and two Japanese and Korean feudal camps with archery, drums, calligraphy and saber.
Side Japan Touch, Japanese culture will be honored through activities for the whole family. Mangas, video games and cosplay contests for some, meeting with anime stars for others (the actress Stephane Excoffier dubber of the famous Monkey D Luffy in the anime One Piece, Where Bruno Méyere, who interprets Livaï in L’Attack on titans). Not to be missed for Kpop fans: the first Kpop Dance Battle. Open to all enthusiasts, this first edition will allow eight groups to compete face to face. During this time, the most daring can learn about Shibari, aka the art of Japanese bondage.
Art will not be left out. Many artists will be present to exhibit their work including the painter Mary Hedonis and its exhibition Samurai and Kimonos or the photographic chronicles of Japanese living in France.
Finally, Burma will be the guest of honor at the Asia Show ?? a particularly surprising choice given the political situation in this country.
