The aurinegro lost the opportunity to liquidate the Clausura, but avoided the catastrophe after being two goals down.
Peñarol kept the lead and the difference of the Clausura by drawing 2-2 with Cerro Largo, who remains undefeated -the only one in the tournament- and within reach of the aurinegros. The Arachanes went to halftime winning 2-0, and in the second half Peñarol transformed into goals everything that he had not been able to in the opening time.
