The son of a former professional boxer well known in the United States will have a new opportunity to show off in the NFL.
The Cincinnati Bengals announced Tuesday that they have offered a spot on their training team to running back Elijah Holyfield.
The latter is the son of former world heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield.
In 2020, Holyfield, who is 23, played with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was also present at their training camp this summer.
He got a try with the Baltimore Ravens earlier in the year, after they lost the services of three running backs in a short time.
