The Brazilian Neymar will be between a month and a month and a half off the pitch due to the ankle injury he suffered last weekend, as reported by Paris Saint-Germain through a statement, although there will be no definitive diagnosis of your condition until you undergo further tests in the next 72 hours.

The attacker suffered a hard tackle in the duel against Saint Etienne, the first with Sergio Ramos as a starter at PSG and, when he fell, he completely bent the ankle of his left leg and was forced to leave the field assisted on a stretcher by the club’s doctors and physiotherapists.

The Brazilian, who started with Messi and Mbappé and is a key figure for Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino, will be absent until 2022 and the evolution of the injury will mark availability. He could be out until the second week of January and would miss up to six games between Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

In the coming weeks, PSG have to face Nice, Lens, Bruges, Monaco, Lorient and Olympique Lyon, the latter the first commitment of 2022 and a key duel for the aspirations in the French tournament.
