Isaiah Hartenstein made his best game of the season in the LA Clippers’ fifth straight win. The Hawks continue to lose, Giannis Antetokounmpo has led the Bucks to an arduous win against a top rival in the east.

Philadelphia 76ers (8-4) – Milwaukee Bucks (5-6) 109:118 (BOXSCORE)

  • The 76ers continue to deliver a tough fight even in heavily decimated form, as they did the day before against the Knicks. The reigning champ only decided the game in the fourth quarter, in which Philly only scored 16 points. For the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo was again the outstanding man with 31 points and 16 rebounds at 12/26 from the field, the Greek freak also set a late exclamation mark with a block high above ring level two minutes before the end.
  • With the number of points, Tyrese Maxey was able to draw level on the other side and was even a bit more efficient (12/24 FG, 4/9 3P). With Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris and Matisse Thybulle in the Covid protocols, Seth Curry battered with a foot injury and Ben Simmons still absent, Doc Rivers effectively bet on a rotation of seven players, eighth man Charles Bassey was on the field for less than five minutes.
  • Milwaukee competed without Donte DiVincenzo, Brook Lopez and Khris Middleton, but the substitute starters Grayson Allen (25, 5/9 3P) and Bobby Portis (19, 10 rebounds, 4/8 3P) performed well again. Jrue Holiday is not back in shape offensively (4/14 FG), but made himself useful with 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 blocks and steals each.
  • Georges Niang, who came off the bench, scored 21 points at 5/7 3P, made himself useful for the Sixers. Andre Drummond (17, 8/13 FG) got 7 of his 20 rebounds on the offensive board, only Furkan Korkmaz (5) didn’t hit a barn goal with the hosts (2/18 FG, 1/12 3P). The Bucks have beaten the Sixers six times in a row.
