In the facilities of the Club Dorados Oaxtepec, the 2021 National University Judo Championship will be inaugurated, which has been convened by the National Council of the Sports of Education -CONDDE and will be from November 6 to 9 of this year.
These games will be attended by the student Carlos Torres Pérez who will be in the category up to 66 kilograms, representing Morelos by the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos
In this national championship there will be a total of 66 competitors in the men’s branch between the different divisions, highlighting that the category in which the Morelos will compete is the one with the highest records with a total of 18; while in the female branch there will be 46 athletes fighting for the metals of gold, silver, and bronze.
In the state of Morelos at the national level it is located in the thirteenth position of the medal table, with the harvest of 10 medals being 2 gold, 4 silver, and 4 bronze; The first position is for the University of Guadalajara who carry a sum of 48 gold, 45 silver, and 38 bronze to total 131 medals.
In the last competition of the National University Championship of Bardas, the Venadas UAEM student squad finished with the silver medal, after falling in the final duel against the Borregas team of the Monterrey Technological Institute of Higher Studies -ITESM- based in Oaxtepec, Morelos.
The passage ceremony will take place the day before the competition from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. while the technical meeting will take place from 8:00 p.m. on November 6. The number of registered participants will be determined once the number of registered participants is confirmed.
In Tae Kwon Do, the actions will start this day in this same scenario where there will also be a presence from Morelos in the female branch in the combat modality in the FIN 46 KG category. Ximena González Rodríguez; Middle category 73 kilograms, Claudia Aguirre Zapata; Welter category 67 kilograms, Diana Escalona Contreras.
