- The municipal president, Mundo Tlatehui, provided basketball and volleyball courts, as well as synthetic grass for soccer practice.
San Andrés Cholula, Puebla.- The City Council of San Andrés Cholula in coordination with the Ministry of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (SEDATU) inaugurated the Sports Unit of the Telesecundaria “Alejandro García” in Santa María Tonantzintla, where the municipal president, Tlatehui World, handed over to the directors and the Parents Committee the keys to the institution.

The expansion works of the Telesecundaria that were in charge of the SEDATUThey consist of a basketball and volleyball court, a grandstand that also functions as an observatory, a synthetic grass field for soccer, an area for growing vegetables, drinking fountains, an irrigation system and lighting.
The mayor Mundo Tlatehui explained that this work contributes to the integral development of students, since sport fosters values such as self-esteem and contributes to their improvement.
It is extremely important to guide our efforts to achieve a better future, much more so in the education sector. Education, as you well know, is an indispensable part of the progress of our municipality ”, he emphasized.
Mundo Tlatehui assured that education and sports generate progress in the municipalityTherefore, he asserted that one of the best investments that should be made as a municipal authority is in the educational field.
For his part, Ulises Manzano López, Undersecretary of Urban Development and Housing at SEDATU, stressed that the extensions that are being delivered today are an example that it is possible to work together between local and federal authorities, parents and managers.

Meanwhile, Ramiro Aguilar Hernández, director of Telesecundarias of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) of the State of Puebla, mentioned that the teachers of the institution will now have the right conditions to achieve a better use of students.
At the event were present, councilors, councilors, Dulce María Barrales, secretary of the Municipal Government; José Ángel Ramírez, general director of the Telesecundaria; José Miguel Ángel Martínez, head of Sector 10 of the SEP; Hugo de Román César, supervisor of School Zone 034 of the SEP and Teodoro Palacios, president of the Parents’ Committee.
