Two more competitions in an intense November for the Alhaurín de la Torre Badminton Club.
We are attending a new day of the Todobádminton provincial circuit, to be played in the Rincón de la Victoria, with the presence of twenty-five players from our club. In addition to the great fight and good victories of the majority, we want to highlight the final victories in the day of little Sophie Triulcio in the women’s individual sub-9, Rocío García in the women’s individual sub-15, Luis Mampel in the men’s individual sub-15, Lucía Benítez in the U17 / 19 women’s individual and Pablo Martín in the U17 / 19 men’s individual. Of the five local victories, we want to highlight those of Sophie, Rocío and Pablo, who have two victories in their two participations in the two days played.
On the other hand, the fifth day of the Absolute Andalusia Trophy was played, up to which Alejandra Argüelles and Vivian Recio were, to compete in Armilla (Granada). Both boards reached the podium with a final third place in the women’s doubles, and the great joy was taken by Vivi, who achieved her first individual victory in this type of tournament, winning the absolute women’s individual, with a three-set final that she fought until victory is achieved. The first and well deserved, for a fighting player who has continued working for years to get the opportunity and the results that, with effort and improvement, she has been achieving in recent times, and that are a reward for all this.
